Available model cycles are displayed with the latest cycle as the default, displayed on the right-most cell, and highlighted in red. To view the products from a previous cycle, click on the desired MM/DD/YYYY HHUTC link. That link will turn red, and the page will show all the products generated for that cycle.
Below the cycles are the parameters (or products) that are available for the chosen model and area. To select a product, click on its name. The product name will turn red, and then a table of forecast hours will be displayed. Once a product is chosen, more information on the product can be displayed by clicking on the Open product information button.
TIME SELECT gives two options for displaying images of forecast hour data.
Only one Time Select mode is active at a time. To select the desired mode, click on the
text "Single Time Selection" or "Time Range Selection".
The currently-selected mode is displayed in red.
1. Single Time Selection:
When the currently-selected mode is Single Time Selection,
clicking on a forecast hour link displays the image for that forecast hour.
This is the default behavior.
2. Time Range Selection:
Under Time Range Selection mode, the forecast hour links are used to define start and
end hours for looping.
To use the Time Range Selection option, click "Time Range Selection" to activate this mode.
The "Time Range Selection" text will turn red, and three addition options will be shown:
Clear Button: clears start/stop hours that have been chosen.
Time Range Loop (___ - ___) button: starts the loop, once start and stop hours have been chosen.
Skip select: sets an optional skip interval for the loop.
Click a forecast hour link. The selected link turns red. Then select a second
forecast hour link. The two forecast hour links, plus all the forecast hour links in between
turn red. The selected start and end hour are also displayed inside the parenthesis of the Time Range Loop link,
for example: Time Range Loop (F054 - F109).
To activate looping using these forecast hours, click on the "Time Range Loop" button.
Note that two forecast hours must be chosen in order for the looping to start.
The loop range choices may be changed by clicking different forecast hour links.
The choices may be cleared by clicking on the "Clear" button.
The default looping behavior is to show every image from the starting forecast hour to the ending
forecast hour (skip factor of 0). This can be changed by selected another number from the skip
dropdown. For example, if 3 is chosen for the skip number, then the loop page will
start with the first image, skip 3 images, show the next image, skip the next 3, etc.
